This past weekend was the annual Toronto Fan Expo featuring a number of panels and events dedicated to Sci-Fi, horror and comic books. There were a number of celebrity panels featuring Dean Stockwell, James Marsters, Summer Glau, Stan Lee, Tahmoh Penikett and a whole pile more.

I’ll have more to say on the upcoming podcast, but in the meantime here are some of the photos that I snapped over the course of the three day conference. More photos and video to come.

Toronto Comic Con hosted a panel for Caprica just as the show was reaching its mid season finale. The panel featured Magda Apanowicz (Lacy Rand) and Luciana Carro (Priyah Magnus) who fans may also recognize as Kat from Battlestar Galactica. The ladies shared their experiences working on Caprica including working with CGI Cylons, James Marsters and what they’d like to see happen in the remaining episodes of Season 1.

I had a chance, along with the Televixen, to meet up with Kandyse McClure of Battlestar Galactica at last weekend’s Toronto Comic Con. Since it was recently the one year anniversary of BSG’s series finale, it was good chance to reflect on some of the pivotal moments of the show for her character, Anastasia Dualla. We also got some info on what projects Kandyse has coming up in the future.

Had a great time this past weekend at Wizard World’s 2010 Toronto Comic Con. We got more coverage from the Polaris 23. Michelle Forbes was gracious enough to sit down and give some insight into some of the projects she’s worked on in the last couple of years. She provides some insight into working on Battlestar Galactica, In Treatment, Durham County and also hints at developments coming up in the second season of True Blood.
